Saute Loup (Chateau Petrus) 2009 in OWC

£15,000 in bond per 6 bottle case

We are hugely pleased to present a ‘unicorn’ bottling from Bordeaux from the legendary Chateau Petrus in Pomerol.  The Saute-Loup ‘Reserve de Famille’ is a special Pomerol cuvee made in miniscule amounts, not directly released to the public, usually reserved exclusively for friends, family and employees.  It is probably the most mysterious cuvee in Bordeaux that is inevitably highly collectable and rarely comes up for sale.  The name is at first a mystery, coming from a parcel of the domain?, or from a former domain?, of which it is impossible to find in any literature.  And the mystery continues on the nature of the wine, not really a second wine, perhaps a vintage of younger vines, or from a few particular plots – who knows!

This case is in stock and immediately available from our warehouse.
